Ali Omar, B.A, J.D. Barrister and Solicitor
I became a lawyer because I enjoy feeling useful to others. When I
take on a client I see it as my job to help them navigate the
legal system successfully to reach their goals. I am here to
shoulder the burden that is a bit to heavy and overwhelming for
the average untrained civilian.
In 2016 I received a scholarship to study law at Georgia State University in Atlanta, Georgia.I got to learn under some of the most accomplished criminal
lawyers in the U.S.A. I got the opportunity to cut my teeth with
Atlanta Public Defenders Office on the Complex Felony Unit. I got
experience working on drug trafficking, illegal searches, and
serious violent crimes.
I returned to Alberta and began my
Canadian Legal Career in 2021. Since my admission to the Law
Society of Alberta, I have successfully represented clients deal with a vast array of
legal problems from civil disputes to criminal indictments. No
matter what your issue, I will work tirelessly to give you your
best chance at solving it.
